New Year's Resolutions

Here we go again -- the first day of another new year.  

When we welcomed in the new year at midnight last night, The Mr. turned to me and said, "Did you ever think you'd see the year 2017?"  I suppose as a couple of kids who grew up in the 1960's and 1970's, anything with a "2" at the beginning seemed like a loooooong way off to us.  Almost science fictiony.

The beginning of a new year is an interesting time for me.  As I think about a fresh start and setting resolutions, my attitude seems to vacillate between this:

So this year I only have one new resolution:

I think that's something we all could commit to.
